Introduction/specifics
Child day care is equivalent to childcare in a daycare facility, especially for children under the age of three, and fulfills the statutory mandate to promote the upbringing, education, and care of children.
A qualified childminder (childminder) cares for a small group of children in their own or rented apartment/house.
The children are usually between the ages of 0 and 3, and the number of children cared for is a maximum of 5, or in a large daycare center with 2 or 3 childminders, a maximum of 9 children at a time. Child day care thus has a family-like atmosphere, allowing each child to receive particularly intensive attention.
Childcare hours in child day care can be individually agreed upon between parents and childminders according to their specific needs.
Important: Before a suitable childminder can be found, interested families must have attended an information session. Only after participation can further consideration be given to their request. You can register for an information session (in person or via Zoom) here.
