All play areas, both indoors and outdoors, are designed in consultation with the children to be optimal for movement, creativity, role play, retreat, communication, and creative and constructive play.

Outdoor Facilities

The outdoor area runs along the outside of the daycare center.

Each group has its own access to the outdoor area, as well as its own sandbox, which is directly visible from the group.

At the rear of the outdoor area is a large area equipped with a nest swing, a climbing tower, and a slide. Our strawberries, apples, and herbs also grow here.

Centrally located, there is a paved area that invites children to ride on child-friendly vehicles. There are also two garden sheds there, which are used for storing the vehicles and sand toys.

Basics

As a certified family center, the Bunte Erde daycare center offers childcare for 80 children aged 0 to 6 years in five groups.

In our roles as a plus daycare center and language daycare center, our multi-professional team focuses on the individual support and language development of children.

One of our overarching principles concerns child participation and is therefore an important component of our educational work.

Employee

Our multi-professional daycare team works holistically and inclusively. It is comprised of full-time and part-time professionals and support staff with diverse qualifications and backgrounds. In addition, the team includes trainees who complete internships each year. Our housekeeper takes care of the kitchen and cleaning.

The team promotes an inclusive approach that sees diversity as enrichment and an environment in which all children feel welcome, safe, and valued.
